The recent credit crunch has once again made cash the king! Companies are interested in locating extra working capital and some of this capital is literally sitting in their supply chain. This represents all the misplaced and excess inventory that is located in warehouses, plants, stores or even slow ships.

One of our customers, a building supplies manufacturer, recently performed an inventory study and found an excess of $12 million in their supply chain. Using Inventory Analyst they could optimize inventory across their entire supply chain of 5 plants and 22 warehouses.
