Mike, please let us know if you are still experiencing a problem, ideally explaining exactly what is happening. We are unable to reproduce this at this end and have no problem subscribing via RSS.

We continue to test internally against the Webkit-based browsers, such as Safari and Chrome. However, we do not officially support these browsers for JViews 8.5. We are discussing on adding this to the feature planning for the subsequent release, but I cannot commit to this yet. For any additional questions that you have on the beta, I suggest you come over to the forum that we setup and post there: http://forums.ilog.com/visualization/index.php?board=32.0

IlvGraphicHandle keeps a permanent handle of the delegate. LightText allocates the delegate on the fly and gives it free for garbage collection after drawing. If I would use IlvGraphicHandle, then the delegate would not be garbage collected after drawing. Then I would loose the effect that is needs less memory.

I do have one question. Why not base your LightText on IlvGraphicHandle? Isn't IlvGraphicHandle supposed to be the base for all delegated graphics objects?
