The Beta for the next release will be out on October 4th.   This first Beta will focus on new features added to ILOG JViews Diagrammer, as well as an entirely new package for Eclipse developers.  Another Beta will be out later in October to cover the other ILOG JViews products.  General Availability of ILOG JViews 8.5 is early December.
