About us
Jean Pommier
Having joined ILOG upon its inception, in 1987, Jean has been involved in hundreds of implementation of decisioning systems based on ILOG products. He has been a software developer on ILOG’s initial rule technology before managing and developing the services (consulting, training, customer support). Today, he is in charge of ISIS (ILOG Solution Implementation Standard), the methdology used by ILOG Professional Services to ensure successful engagements based on ILOG technology. After 11 years based at ILOG’s headquarter in France, he moved to the Silicon Valley, California, headquarter in 1998. An elite marathon and ultra marathon runner, he is the father of three boys.
Pierre Berlandier
Pierre joined ILOG’s Consulting division in 1995. As a Principal Consultant, he has helped ILOG’s customers leverage all the successive incarnations of the rules programming paradigm, from expert systems, to real-time intelligent agents, and now business rules applications. In addition to deep content, Pierre is also our infrastructure guru when it comes to leveraging the Eclipse Process Framework. Before joining ILOG he earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Nice, France, and worked on Artificial Intelligence and Constraint Programming as a post-doctoral researcher at INRIA and XEROX Parc. He lives with his family in San Diego, California.
Jerome Boyer
After 10 years with IBM R&D and Global Services where he developed telecom switches and started the Java practice for IBM Europe, Jerome joined ILOG in 2000, to lead the Professional Services team in the Telecom Business Division. Then, as PS Worldwide Technical Director he has been instrumental in major large successful implementations of Business Rule Management Systems and originated the ISIS methodology. He is also a recognized expert in BPM and SOA. He has been based at ILOG’s Headquarters in Silicon Valley, California since 2000. He has match raced 420 and 470 in world championships, now plays golf and is father of three.
Maurice Schlumberger
Upon joining ILOG in 2005, Maurice brought to the Consulting organization more than 30 years of expertise and leadership in software engineering, project management and IT Research and Development. Leveraging such experience and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford, Maurice first led several successful optimization-based implementations and now handles the Project Management and Optimization practices within ISIS. Living in the US since 1998, he is the father of three on both sides of the Atlantic.
Julio Perez

Julio had over 10 years of IT experience before joining ILOG in 2005, including several years involved in implementation of the ISO 9000 quality management standard within a System Integrator. As a consultant he has implemented several BRMS in Europe. Beyond BRMS, his areas of expertise are Java (SCJP, SCWD and SCEA certifications), quality management, project management and software engineering processes. He is based in Salamanca, Spain, and has one daughter. Enjoying sports he is a certified PADI Divemaster.
