Hi James,

You can increase the height of the bar and the scale renderers to fill the gap.

Hope this helps.

Hello Damien, I love the component. Can you shed some light on the following?

I have a separation between the "mercury" and the "reservoir" at the bottom where one can see the back color. Can you point me to the markup to change?

Here is what is looks like to me: https://mypublic.s3.amazonaws.com/thermometer.png

Thanks for any help!

Hi Matt,

Maybe you forgot {} to make bindable 'MyPercentCompleteVar'?
Using the Flex binding syntax, you can easily change the value of the bar.

Hope this helps.

Is there a way to change the "20" to a dynamic value from an xml doc?

I really like the thermometer gauge you created. I added a label and am successfully pulling a single value from an xml document to display a "% complete value." I would like the thermometer to show this as well by assigning this same variable to l"ocal:ThermometerBar value="MyPercentCompleteVar." No errors are being generated but no results either. If this is possible (swapping out "20" with a variable), I'm hoping that it is just a syntax issue. Would you by any chance have any thoughts on how this might be possible? Any insight at all is greatly appreciated.
